Air Command And Control Specialist Course
So! Your heading down to Hurlburt field florida to attend the 1C4X1
course. Well just so you have an idea what you signed up for and just so
you don't get caught flat footed, here are some photos of some of the
things you will be doing down there....and a few things to avoid. The
Course is divided into 7 Blocks:

| ENLISTED
BATTALION LIAISON OFFICER/7 LEVEL COURSE
To answer questions about 7-Level School.....The class is now three
weeks long. The first week is all doctrine and MDMP. The second week is
aircraft systems, ordnance, AAA systems etc. The third week is using the
MDMP while working several scenarios. You need to bring nothing with you.
All lesson materials are on the hard drives of the computers we provide
(yes we finally got them), thanks ACC! Make billeting reservations as soon
as you are notified you are coming. Report to the schoolhouse at 0800 on
the first morning of class. If anyone has any more questions you may call
us at (yes we do have phones here at the schoolhouse!) DSN 579-7277.

SERE School PURPOSE: ESCAPE PLANNING OBJECTIVE: Reporting Instructions: Because some students will be coming from distant stations (TDY students)and other students are already stationed at Fort Bragg (local students),some of the following will not apply equally. 1. Students must have all their affairs in order priorto inprocessing. No time will be available to return leased vehiclesor perform other noncourse activities after reporting for inprocessing. 2. TDY students arriving at Fort Bragg should registerat Moon Hall (Army hotel) NLT Sunday evening, the day before the coursestart date. Moon Hall is located in building D-3601; telephone: commercial(910) 436-1669. Moon Hall is for billeting only. Course cadrewill NOT be present at check-in. 3. Students must provide a copy of orders to the MoonHall receptionist at check-in. In order to expedite check-out,, managementsuggests paying all expenses the night before check-out to avoid check-outlines. Those students who settle their accounts the night beforecheck-out should inquire, at that time, about express check-out for coursestudents. 4. TDY students staying overnight at Moon Hall shouldbe checked out of Moon Hall prior to 0645 Monday morning. 5. Transportation is scheduled to arrive at Moon Hallat 0700 Monday. Students who desire transportation should place theirbaggage on board the transport and board themselves. Transportationwill depart Moon Hall at 0715 and arrive at the Special Operations AcademicFacility, Building D-3915, at about 0720. 6. All students report to Room 275, USAJFKSWCS SpecialOperations Academic Facility (SOAF), Building D-3915. Building D-3915is bordered by Zabitowski Road, Ardennes Street, Merrill Street, and BastogneDrive. 7. All students will report with the following: a. ID card, ID tags, and meal card. b. Orders (five copies). TDY students will have DD Form 1610 or Format 400 TDY orders. Local students will have Format 440 attachment orders.c. Medical records with an appropriate surgeon approved SERE physical examination (original only).d. DA Form 705 (PT test) or equivalent evaluation.e. Swim test certification (Marines,Special Forces-qualified soldiers, and Rangers are exempt). f. All required clothing and equipment. Prerequisites: Active and Reserve component personnel of the armed forces of the United States specified by DOD Directive 1300.7 and AR 350-30 to receive Level C Code of Conduct/SERE training. Level C training is for soldiers whose wartime position, MOS, or assignment has a high risk of capture and whose position, rank, or seniority make them vulnerable to greater than average exploitation efforts by a captor. Examples include personnel who operate forward of the FLOT such as Special Forces, pathfinders, selected aviators, flying crew members,, and members of Ranger battalions. Peacetime level C personnel are those who due to assignment or mission have a high risk of being taken hostage by terrorists or being detained by a hostile government in a peacetime environment. Examples include Special Forces, selected military attaches, members of Ranger battalions, and anyone in special support missions near conflict areas. Foreign students must meet requirements as stated in SERE Classification Guide. Must possess current Standard Forms 88 and 93 conforming to mobilization standards of Chapter 3, AR 40-501. School must be completed within two years of date on physical. NOTE: When SERE is done in immediate succession with SFQC, the physical that was acceptable for SFAS/SFQC will suffice, providing the physical has not expired. In addition, the student must possess a normal EKG and a satisfactory urinalysis test within two years of course completion date and must report with medical records on day of in processing. Any abnormalities will have accompanying evaluation by appropriate medical specialist. Must attain a score of 180 points on APRT, with at least 60 points per event, passed within30 days of reporting date to SERE High-Risk Course and given IAW FM 21-20.Organization/unit surgeons will base their determinationsof a soldier’s medical qualification/disqualification on AR 40-501, Standardsof Medical Fitness (1 May 1989), Interim Change No. 101 to AR 50-401 (1October 1991), and the USAJFKSWCS Memorandum, “Requirements for CompletingPhysical Examinations for USAJFKSWCS Schools,” 1 March 1995. Soldiers requesting waivers for disqualifying
conditions willsubmit their physical examinations along with memorandum
requesting thewaiver (NLT 30 days prior to class start date) through the
USASOC MedicalTraining Division for delivery to USAJFKSWCS (where waivers
